B2B.Africa

Embed our tools on your site

Put South Africa trade tools on your site: duty calculator, open tenders, top suppliers, company check. One snippet each, nothing to install. If we have given you a partner code, put it in place of YOUR-ID in every snippet below and every click back to B2B.Africa is tagged to you. In the three iframe widgets a code we have not issued is ignored and those clicks count as direct; the button link carries whatever you put in it, so an unissued code there only tags the click with something that means nothing to us. No code yet? Delete the whole partner=YOUR-ID parameter from each iframe address, and the whole utm_campaign=YOUR-ID from the button link — each widget still works.

Each of the three iframe widgets below carries a "Data by B2B.Africa" link. Keeping it visible is the condition for using them: don't hide, crop or cover it. The button is itself a link to us, so it carries no separate credit line.

Each iframe's <script> block is optional. It listens for one message from the iframe directly above it and sets that iframe's height, so the widget never scrolls inside its own box. It touches nothing else on your page and loads no external file. Leave it out and the widget still works, at a fixed height.

Import duty calculator

Looks up South Africa import duty by HS code, origin and destination. Every rate carries its own source link and effective date, with a "verify at source" flag on any rate we have not seen updated in two years — a reference lookup, not a customs ruling.

<iframe src="https://b2b.africa/embed/duty-calculator?partner=YOUR-ID" style="width:100%;border:0" height="600" title="South Africa import duty calculator"></iframe>
<script>
  (function () {
    var frame = document.currentScript.previousElementSibling;
    window.addEventListener("message", function (event) {
      if (event.origin !== "https://b2b.africa" || !event.data || event.data.type !== "b2b-embed-resize") return;
      if (frame && frame.tagName === "IFRAME" && event.source === frame.contentWindow) frame.style.height = event.data.height + "px";
    });
  })();
</script>

Open tenders feed

Lists up to 10 open tenders for one category and province, nearest closing date first, from the same live data as our tender pages — the source line under the list names who published the rows shown. Set your own category and province in the iframe address below.

Preview shown without a category/province set, so it renders the widget's own empty-state message. Your iframe address sets both.

<iframe src="https://b2b.africa/embed/tenders?category=YOUR-CATEGORY-SLUG&province=YOUR-PROVINCE-SLUG&partner=YOUR-ID" style="width:100%;border:0" height="520" title="Open South African tenders in this category and province"></iframe>
<script>
  (function () {
    var frame = document.currentScript.previousElementSibling;
    window.addEventListener("message", function (event) {
      if (event.origin !== "https://b2b.africa" || !event.data || event.data.type !== "b2b-embed-resize") return;
      if (frame && frame.tagName === "IFRAME" && event.source === frame.contentWindow) frame.style.height = event.data.height + "px";
    });
  })();
</script>

Top 5 suppliers

Shows the five most-awarded suppliers in one category, ranked by number of awards, from South African government award data (National Treasury eTenders, OCDS). Available for the categories listed on our supplier index — the ones with the most award data; any other category shows a short note and a link to that index.

Preview shown without a category set, so it renders the widget's own empty-state message. Your iframe address sets the category.

<iframe src="https://b2b.africa/embed/suppliers?category=YOUR-CATEGORY-SLUG&partner=YOUR-ID" style="width:100%;border:0" height="400" title="Top 5 suppliers to the South African government in this category"></iframe>
<script>
  (function () {
    var frame = document.currentScript.previousElementSibling;
    window.addEventListener("message", function (event) {
      if (event.origin !== "https://b2b.africa" || !event.data || event.data.type !== "b2b-embed-resize") return;
      if (frame && frame.tagName === "IFRAME" && event.source === frame.contentWindow) frame.style.height = event.data.height + "px";
    });
  })();
</script>

Company check button

A plain link to our paid company check. It covers South African companies, so the button says so — place it next to South African companies, not suppliers in other markets. The price is not in the snippet — it is shown on our checkout page, so nothing in your HTML goes stale when our pricing changes. The link carries your partner code in utm_campaign; the button's look is in the snippet itself, so edit the inline style to match your page.

Check a South African company

Questions before you install? The three iframe widgets each have a full page on our site: /tools/duty-calculator, /tenders and /south-africa/who-supplies. The button goes to our checkout page, where the price and what the check covers are shown before anyone pays.
