Who is B2B.Africa for?

B2B.Africa is for companies that buy from or sell into African markets, starting with South Africa. African buyers can find qualified international suppliers, and manufacturers and exporters can find buyers and distributors who have posted real requests.

How does a buyer post a request?

Accepted Answer

A buyer describes what they want to source (the product and, optionally, its HS code; target countries; volume or MOQ; Incoterms; certifications; deadline) in a sourcing request on the platform. The platform then matches it to supplier companies that fit, and the buyer's contact details stay masked until a supplier unlocks them. Trade terms like MOQ and Incoterms are explained in the Glossary.

What is a lead credit?

A lead credit is the unit a supplier spends to unlock the buyer contact on one matched opportunity. After unlocking, the supplier and buyer talk in the platform chat. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. The monthly lead allowance in each plan activates with network launch — see Pricing for what is included.

When is a lead credit returned?

Accepted Answer

A credit is returned automatically, with no request needed, when the buyer contact bounced or was invalid, when the same contact had already been given to your company on another match, or when the request was removed by moderation after you unlocked it. Returned credits are restored to your balance, not paid out in cash. The full wording is in the Refund Policy.

Can I claim my company's profile?

Yes. A company can appear from public sources before anyone claims it. A representative can claim the profile, confirm its basic details and then move up the verification ladder, for example by proving control of the company's domain. See Trust & methodology.

Which countries and markets do you cover?

Accepted Answer

South Africa is the first market. The tender radar covers South African public tenders only; other African markets are not covered by it today. Companies from outside Africa, including manufacturers in China, can be matched to South African requests.

Where does the data come from?

Data comes from public government sources, National Treasury eTenders (OCDS, licensed CC BY 4.0), the company's own website and licensed data providers. Every datapoint carries its source and date. The list with links is on Trust & methodology.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, in defined cases. Our Refund Policy sets out when a refund is due, the claim window and how to ask. Statutory rights are not affected.
