B2B.Africa

B2B.Africa is a neutral trade platform built on public tender data and company sources. It connects African producers with global buyers, and African buyers with qualified international suppliers.

What is B2B.Africa?

B2B.Africa is an Africa trade intelligence and trust platform. Instead of a catalogue of listings, it is request-driven: a buyer describes what they need, and the platform matches the request to supplier companies that fit it.

Every company, tender and verification check on the platform carries its source and the date it was collected, so you can see where each fact comes from.

Who is B2B.Africa for?

It serves three groups.

  • African producers who want to reach global buyers, and who can claim a company profile and work up its verification level.
  • African buyers who want qualified international suppliers for products they need to import.
  • International manufacturers and exporters exploring South Africa, our first market, who want to find buyers and distributors and read public tender activity.

What does B2B.Africa do?

The platform does five things:

  • Lets buyers post a sourcing request (an RFQ) and matches it to suppliers.
  • Lets suppliers post a supply search to find buyers and distributors.
  • Shows each supplier a masked opportunity first; buyer contact details are released only when the supplier unlocks the lead with a lead credit.
  • Runs a tender radar over South African public tenders published by National Treasury eTenders.
  • Sells one-time reports, such as a Quick Company Check and a Market Scan. Current prices are on the pricing page.

How are companies verified?

Companies move through a six-step verification ladder: Unclaimed, Claimed, Domain verified, Registration checked, Documents checked and Fully verified. A badge is earned by passing the checks. It is never sold. The full description is on the Trust and methodology page and in our methodology page.

What does B2B.Africa not do?

We do not guarantee sales, contracts or replies from third parties. We do not act as an escrow agent, handle logistics or offer payment protection. We do not promise that a verified company is solvent or that a deal will succeed.

Registration is checked when the company provides documents.

On-site verification is a level on the ladder, not something every company receives by default.

Who runs B2B.Africa?

B2B.Africa is operated by Maya Tech Services LLC, a company based in the USA. Self-serve payments are taken by card through Stripe. Our Terms and refund policy set out what a paid order includes.

How do I report a mistake or get in touch?

Use the contact details on the site. If a company record, tender or verification result looks wrong, tell us which page and which datapoint, and we will review it against its source. The process is described in our methodology page.
